Aaron Everything’s new track ‘Constant Disturbance’ is a sugary banger about life finding a way of getting between you and your significant other's plans at its core. Finding it hard to juggle a full time job, education and a music career Aaron struggles to see there ever being enough time in the day but he’s trying to make some for this person.
In the first verse Aaron says ‘Miss me like a hole in the head, butterfly down til I done what I said, often I think about you, don’t want to let go I’m like Mac with his Bloo’. Aaron uses the butterfly effect as a metaphor of all the things that need to happen until he finally gets around to coming through on his promise. Aaron’s heavy influence from cartoons is seen here too where he references Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends where Mac promises to get Bloo out of there in the first episode but never really does come through on said promise.
Never being a good sleeper to begin with, Aaron says ‘Now supper at sunrise and that’s all over you’ as he would sit up all night messaging this girl.
Just before the final chorus Aaron talks about this as almost a limbo he finds himself in ‘Tripped down a well, forever have I fell, waiting for the water or the pale, the air down here is getting stale, if I don’t see the other side then it’s another day of night’. Aaron realises if he doesn’t make a change in some part of his life to free up some time he won’t have much to look back on when he’s old and grey.
Aaron again collaborating with Wexford artist/producer Shmezzz who opted for a faster and more pop influenced production gives Aaron yet another chance to switch up his delivery and performance.
