The first track of the EP with vocals from the project's sole producer himself, Jack Bashful himself is a track written about the unrest Aaron and Jack suffer from aspects of their relationships and artistic endeavours not going to plan. In Aaron’s performance he really wanted to convey a scene of laying in for a lazy night with your S.O and appreciating the little things of a relationship like how just a touch of a hand can calm you down if you’re having a stressful week. ‘Takes the touch of your hand just to mellow me out’ This track also sparked the idea for the EP’s name when Aaron said the line ‘Ace up my sleeve but you called my bluff’ Aces, Jacks, 2 Kings on the one track? Sounds like a card game to me.
